Sunshine Happy!

Why does sunshine makes every one so happy? I mean, I'm sure there is a scientific reason for it all! But it really does seem to make all the difference! Two days of sunshine and suddenly everyone is happy, smiley and talking and laughing with complete strangers as if they were old friends!

So what i wont to know is why we don't just make a summers longer? Surely we have the technology to just pull are little isle slightly further south? I know this would mean that the old people of Brittan would no longer have to emigrate in such droves! This i guess could be seen as both a positive and negative affect! But i really do think its something that we should look into more seriously!!!

People are more happy when it is sunny because they can spend more time outdoors, which uses more energy than sitting inside, when it is not sunny people use this extra energy to be miserable...OR maybe everyone has seasonal affected disorder.
If we made summers longer this extra happiness might cause the island to explode!

i think sunshine releases endorfens...endorfens make you happy...there's your answer!....just make everyone spend a few minutes down at tanning salon and we should all get a similar effect!

Someone once told me that Sunshine has Vitamin D which we dont get so much from anything else, that and the fact that it makes everything brighter & lighter for long, which can never be a bad thing (unless maybe you live on a pole (e.g.the North or the South) when you can get upto 23 hours of sunlight!)!
However if we made summers longer then we wouldnt appreciate the sunshine!Currently they are soemthing to look forward to & enjoy, which is what i am doing!
